NAVANTIA SEANERGIES

We build substations and fixed and floating foundations.

Substations for wind farms

Offshore electrical substations have the role of collecting the energy produced by wind turbines and channelling it by cable to onshore stations. Our experience in supplying marine structures of all types, and completing complex electrical system projects has allowed us to tackle AC substation projects, prepared us for more complex DC projects, and we look to the future with innovative floating substation designs.

Other substations

The DC electrical substation commissioned by the Norwegian companies Equinor and Aibel for the Johan Sverdrup oil field.

Marine Foundations

Wind turbines are supported by different types of structures, whether they are fixed structures such as jackets or monopiles or with the very diverse existing floating type designs. Navantia's more than 400 years of experience designing and manufacturing marine structures is the strength that has made Navantia Seanergies the only manufacturer in the world capable of simultaneously supplying monopile, jacket and floating structures, with close to 400 structures already delivered or currently being manufactured.
