Navantia Seanergies at WindEurope 2026: Energy Autonomy and Industrial Collaboration

Navantia Seanergies will take part in the next edition of WindEurope, to be held next week from 21 to 23 April at IFEMA Madrid, where it will present its industrial offering for the development of a strong European offshore wind value chain, based on in-house capabilities, security of supply and long-term industrial collaboration.

Against a backdrop marked by the need to strengthen Europe’s energy sovereignty, reduce external dependencies and ensure the technical and economic viability of offshore projects, Navantia Seanergies will attend the sector’s leading trade fair as an industrial player with proven capabilities in the design and manufacture of metal structures for offshore wind foundations and offshore electrical substations, delivering complete industrial solutions from Europe.

“Offshore wind today needs more than regulatory ambition. It requires real industrial capacity, reliable suppliers and secure supply chains,” says Javier Herrador, Vice-President, Navantia Seanergies. “Our presence at WindEurope responds to that need: to demonstrate that Europe has the industry, experience and technology required to develop its offshore projects with security, quality and strategic autonomy.”

During the event, the company will highlight the experience acquired over more than a decade of activity, with a distinctive positioning as a European manufacturer specialising in fixed foundations such as jackets and monopiles, steel floating platforms and offshore electrical substations. This industrial offering enables the delivery of large-scale projects with high standards of quality, traceability and operational safety.

Innovation and production efficiency

At WindEurope, Navantia Seanergies will also showcase its commitment to applied industrial innovation, with advanced digitalisation, automation and quality control processes that increase production efficiency and reduce manufacturing risks – a critical factor for project bankability and schedule compliance in offshore developments.

Industrial collaboration and integration into local ecosystems will be another of the company’s core themes at the fair. Navantia Seanergies will present its working model with industrial partners and public authorities in European and emerging markets, combining its own production capacity with knowledge transfer and the development of local capabilities, particularly in the UK, France and Australia.

Through its participation in WindEurope 2026, Navantia Seanergies reaffirms its role as a strategic industrial partner for developers, utilities and operators, aligned with Europe’s objectives of decarbonisation, strategic autonomy and the strengthening of industrial supply chains, and committed to offshore wind that combines technological ambition, industrial realism and energy security.

During the exhibition, Navantia’s green energies division will have a strong presence, with speakers taking part in various WindEurope conference sessions as a European benchmark for the offshore wind industry. In addition, several events will be hosted at the Navantia Seanergies stand addressing key topics for the sector such as bankability, innovation and the role of ports. The company will also celebrate twelve years of collaboration with its partner Windar Renovables. On Students’ Day, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Navantia Seanergies will present the new offshore wind programme within the Romero Landa Chair, focused on the development of floating platform projects.
